Kentucky supervised driving hours
Kentucky asks teens with a learner permit for 60 hours of supervised driving, 10 of them at night before they take the road test.

Short, regular drives build skill faster than a few long ones. A 30-minute drive after school twice a week and a longer weekend trip adds up to about two hours a week.
Counting the night hours
Night hours are usually the hardest to collect, especially in summer when it stays light late. Plan a few evening drives in fall and winter, when it gets dark earlier.
